I’ve been browsing around the internet and i’ve been looking for the true meaning of “modest fashion”. What do people understand when they read, hear or see modest fashion?
Just google ‘modest fashion’ and you will find the answer right away. It’s so common that people relate modest fashion to religion. But dressing modest is much more than that. On the other hand it also became a choice that women make. Dressing modest isn’t linked to being old fashioned anymore, it became part of the freedom of women to love fashion and dressing modest.
This style of fashion has been growing a lot the last couple of years and many more people seem to grow onto the idea of dressing modest. Different brands anticipate to this group of consumers interest by adding modest pieces to their collection. A great example is Dolce & Gabbana who has created a beautiful collection of abaya, H&M that includes kaftans in their designs and Tommy Hilfiger who just launched their scarf collection. Each and everyday there seems to be more interest in this different kind of fashion.
Let’s just say that modest fashion is a choice of each woman that doesn’t want to reveal too much of her body.
